The story follows Lianxiang, a young woman unaware of her true identity, who arrives at Cuiyu Manor seeking refuge with relatives. After the manor is destroyed, she is forced to wander in a foreign land, where she is taken in by Prince Bai Yihan as his attendant. Tasked with secretly investigating the whereabouts of a missing princess, Bai Yihan never suspects that the very attendant by his side is the one he is searching for. Through a series of perilous yet dramatic encounters, Bai Yihan uncovers Lianxiang's true identity as the princess and learns that the mastermind who has been obstructing her reunion is none other than Princess Yongyi. Despite her sister's betrayal, Lianxiang sacrifices herself to save Yongyi in a moment of danger. Ties of blood ultimately overcome resentment, reconciling the sisters. In the end, with blessings from all around, Lianxiang and Bai Yihan are happily married.
