Fireman Sam je animovaný komediální dětský seriál o hasiči jménem Sam, jeho hasičských kolezích a dalších obyvatelích smyšleného velšského venkovského městečka Pontypandy (přesmyčka dvou skutečných měst, Pontypriddu a Tonypandy, která leží od sebe zhruba 5 mil (8,0 km) daleko v údolích jižního Walesu). Původní nápad na seriál vzešel od dvou bývalých hasičů z Kentu, kteří jej přinesli výtvarníkovi a spisovateli Robu Leeovi; ten koncept rozpracoval, a seriál později objednala stanice S4C.

Fireman Sam se poprvé objevil ve velštině na S4C pod názvem Sam Tân v roce 1987 a téhož roku později i v angličtině na BBC1. Původní série skončila v roce 1994 a nová série s rozšířeným obsazením postav začala v roce 2005. Seriál se ve Skotsku vysílal také v gaelštině pod názvem Sam Smalaidh. Byl prodán do více než 40 zemí a po celém Spojeném království se využívá k propagaci požární bezpečnosti.
