Domácnost Matsunových tvoří převážně šest identických sourozenců: sobecký vůdce Osomatsu, mužný Karamatsu, hlas rozumu Choromatsu, cynický Ichimatsu, hyperaktivní Juushimatsu a roztomilý Todomatsu. Přestože je každému z nich přes dvacet, jsou neuvěřitelně líní a nemají vůbec žádnou motivaci sehnat si práci, takže raději žijí jako povaleči. Ve vzácných chvílích, kdy se přece jen pokusí najít zaměstnání a nějak se dostanou k pohovoru, je jejich svérázné povahy zpravidla dovedou k rychlému odmítnutí. Ať už jde o balení holek nebo hledání ideální práce, každodenní počínání bratrů Matsunových nikdy není nudné, protože se vrhají do nejrůznějších bláznivých a často vyloženě bizarních dobrodružství. Zoufale hledají způsob, jak si polepšit ve společnosti, jenže to nepůjde, pokud nepřežijí nejrůznější nástrahy, které přináší život šesterčat!
