The Masked Singer vychází z mezinárodního hitu, který je už teď virálním fenoménem s více než půl miliardou fanoušků po celém světě a nejsledovanějším trendovým videem roku 2017 na YouTube. Celebrity v něm soupeří jedna s druhou, ovšem s jedním zásadním zvratem: každý zpěvák je od hlavy k patě ukrytý ve složitém kostýmu s maskou přes celý obličej, která tají jeho totožnost.
