BattleBots jsou novým pojetím zabijáckého robotího souboje od Whalerock Industries a od tvůrců původní značky BattleBots, Eda Roskiho a Grega Munsona. Doma vyrobení roboti se vracejí ve druhé řadě, kde se utkají ve vyřazovacím turnaji, dokud nezůstane jediný šampion. Desetidílná série představí roboty nové generace, větší, rychlejší a silnější než kdy dřív. Pořad se dál soustředí na návrh a stavbu každého robota, na příběhy jejich konstruktérů, na jejich urputnou honbu za titulem a na podívanou samotnou. Váhová kategorie je jen jedna, zato smrtících zbraní je nepřeberně. Do klání nastoupí osmačtyřicet robotů, ale závěrečnou trofej si nakonec odnese jediný.
